‘On A Journey’ 🐫 Is Available Now On All Streaming Platforms

September 09, 2024 by Quentin Marcellis

Fun fact : Sometimes I think I have a manager, and most times it’s just me. 🌵Sometimes my shows have 50+ people, and sometimes 5 people. Sometimes I have the loudest fans, and sometimes the people I thought would be my biggest supporters are my quietest enemies. 🦗Sometimes my support comes from complete strangers, and sometimes it comes from people I never expected it to come from. Sometimes I think I’m a star✨, and sometimes I want to quit! Sometimes I am celebrated, and sometimes I dont feel visible. Sometimes I am the most confident person🦋, and sometimes the demons in my head win.

I’ve been making music independently since 2015, and sometimes I dont know where this journey 🏜️ is leading me since I don’t see everything fully manifested or have everything figured out, but I hope the Universe is leading me to where I’m meant to be! 🐫

I’m ‘On A Journey’ please pray for me! My new single ‘#OnAJourney’ is out NOW on  iTunes Spotify TIDAL and all streaming platforms!✨

“Fall in love with taking care of yourself. Fall in love with the path of deep healing. 🌵Fall in love with becoming the best version of yourself, but with patience, with compassion, and respect to your own journey.” ✨

My seventh single #OnAJourney🐫 from my second mixtape ‘On A Journey’🏜️ is available on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and all streaming platforms!

Interview with BOLDJourney: On A Journey With Quentin Marcellis

August 09, 2024 by Quentin Marcellis

https://boldjourney.com/on-a-journey-with-quentin-marcellis/

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Quentin Marcellis. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Quentin, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I developed my confidence, and self esteem from spiritual practices such as meditation, yoga, and breathing exercises. I also developed my confidence by exercising, and working out.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a model, actor, and music artist who is also a writer, and entrepreneur. What’s exciting, and special about it is that l I get to be authentically me, and effect my community, through, art, music, and entertainment. My brand also extends to be being a yoga instructor, tarot card reader, and spiritual healing for the community. I’m also a wardrobe stylist, and fashion is a big part of my brand as well.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey were being digitally proficient in a digital age. Writing, and speaking are also a big part of my skill set, and success. The best way to develop, or improve skill is to read, and educate yourself. Also it’s important to gain some experience in the field.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

The book ‘ The Secret’ changed my life, the ways I thought about my own power, and the way the laws of the Universe work.

Meet Quentin Marcellis

CANVASREBEL: Hi Quentin, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

My first two mixtape #DaysInTheMidwest🌵 & #OnAJourney🐫 were released on the same day 7 years apart. These musical projects mean a lot to me because they are my pre albums, and help to define, and establish my sound as an artist. They are both available on my Soundcloud, and YouTube account. My six singles on all streaming platforms are also very meaningful to me since I write my own songs, and can share it with the World.

CANVASREBEL: Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Quentin Marcellis. I am a model, actor, and music artist born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I started making music when I moved back to my hometown after living in New York City, and being inspired by all of the diversity, art, music, and fashion. I also have a plethora of side business’s such as styling, journalism, LGBTQ+ activism, yoga teaching, as well as tarot/astrology. Spirituality, and self empowerment is a big part of my brand, and the problem I believe I solve for my clients, and fans is self motivation, body positivity, accepting yourself for who you are, and liberating others to being a free spirit. What’s sets me apart from others is that I have multiple skills, and talents, and I’m not one dimensional. I’m most proud of my resiliency in Oklahoma, despite my hardships, and challenges being a black Queer artist in a conservative state. I want my potential clients, and fans to know that I work very hard to put my best foot forward.

CANVASREBEL: What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the freedom to create from a truly authentic place. I get to express myself through, music, fashion, and acting which are artistic disciplines that make me like my higher self.

CANVASREBEL: Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My goal, and mission driving my creative journey is to be a full time creative artist with a global impact, working on myself. for myself. I desire to become the greatest artist of my generation, and to leave a lasting impact, and legacy like the people I look up to, and admire.

Oklahoma Fashion Alliance + My Modeling Journey

March 22, 2024 by Quentin Marcellis

This past weekend February 24th ended with a bang with Oklahoma Fashion Alliance Season 3 ‘Is The Earth Just A Body Too?’ I modeled for a local designer named ‘Rayven Anandalio’ an early 2000’s look that reminds me of a ‘Camp’ and ‘Grunge’ style. The venue is called ‘Artisan Hall’ a planned adaptive reuse project of the historic Second Presbyterian Church at 76 N Zunis in Tulsa’s Kendall-Whittier district, intended as a community hub. This was my third fashion show with Oklahoma Fashion Alliance, and one out of many fashion shows I’ve done in my life in the books. Oklahoma Fashion Alliance created a space where there was none for models, designers, stylist, makeup artist, and creatives in the fashion industry to put on fashion shows for Tulsa, and the surrounding areas, as well as networking. Let’s discuss my modeling journey.

I’ve been modeling professionally for over 10 years, but I’ve been modeling as a hobby since I was a little kid in church fashion shows. Modeling, and fashion are a big part of my brand as an artist. Here are my most memorable achievements on the Runway:

Model for Designer ‘Ken Shep’ Underground Collective Apparel in ‘Brooklyn Fashion Week.’

Model for Designer ‘Joshua Christen’ (Project Runway Winner) ‘Runway Tulsa’ Fashion Show

Model for Designer ‘Posh Boy’ XOL Modeling Agency presents ‘The Marble Experience’ fashion Show at ‘Living Arts Tulsa.’

Model for Designer SB Shades aka Stevie Boi for his ‘Pink’ Collection at Utica Square

Model for Stylist ‘Lonny McQuarters’ in the ‘Cultural Expo Fashion Show at Mother Road Market

Model for Designers ‘Code Fresh’ and ‘Mother road Dispensary’ in the Kushmas Fashion Show.

Model for ‘Sophia Guajardo’ in Oklahoma Fashion Alliance Fashion Show https://oklahomafashionalliance.com/ Theme: ‘People of the Prairie‘
